E TAIHAPE BOROUGH COUNCIL. } SPECIAL ORDER RE SANIT.-.\RY I CHARGE. .]§J()TICE is hereby given, “That in ' "pursuance of the powers vested‘ : in it in that behalf -by “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908,”’ and all other powers enabling it, the Council of the Borough of Taihape, at a Special lMeeting of the Council, held at 7.45 |p.lll. on FRIDAY, the 20:11 day of February, 1920, passed the following 11-esolution, ''that is to say,“‘Whereas the Taihape Borough Coun J cil itself undertakes the cleaning of ' closets and privies not connected with any Public drain and the re- ! moval of nightsoil therefrom. And ' whereas as it is expedient to levy a uniform annual fee for such services or work in lieu of a ‘separate Rate. Now, therefor, this Council ! by special order resolves that there I shall be levied upon and paid by 4 the occupieror occupiers’ of every house attended to within the Borough of Taihape the following annual fee.—— ,1. Where the cleansing ofclosets or l privies not connected with any public drain and the removal of nightsoil therefrom is performed. everyl 1 week an annual fee of forty shill lings for each nightsoil pan attend- ‘ ed to. 2. And that each annual fee shall be’ an annual-recurring fee and shall be payable at the oflice of the Taihape Borough Council situate in Main Street, Taihape, quarterly in :.d----vance on the first days of Janmiry, April. July, and October in every year, the first of such payments to become due and payable on the first day of April, 1920 Provided that without prejiuiice to the right of action immediately after any such quarterly day one shilling and three pence per pan for removal of such nightsoil may be allowed as discount to every o'er,-upier who shall’ pay within one month after any such quarterly day. And that this] resolution intended to take efiect as’ a special order shall come into force on the first day of April, 1920. Notice is- also given that the above Resolution will be submitted for confirmation as a Special Order at meeting of the Taihape ‘Borollgh Council, to be held in the Council Chambers of the TOWII H3ll.
