I K SPECIAL ORDER RE SANITARY ’ CHARGE. ,NOTICE is hereby given, “That in pursuance of the powers vested iin it in that behalf -by “The Municipal Corporations Act. 1El08,”’ and all other powers enabling it, the Council of the Borough of Taihape, at a Special Meeting of the Council, held at 7.45 pm. on FRIDAY, the 20th day of jnebruary, 1920, passed the following resolution, that is to say,“Whereas the Taihape Borough Coun cil itself undertakes the cleaning of closets and privies not connected with any‘Public drain and the reli moval of nightsoil therefrom. And whereas as it is expedient to levy a uniform annual fee for such ser- ' vices or work in lieu of a/separate I Rate. Now, therefor, this Council by special order resolves that there shall be levied upon and paid by the occupier or occupiers» of every house attended to within" the Bor- ! ough of Taihape the following annual fee.1. Where the cleansing of closets or privies not connected with any pub- « lic drain and the removal of night- ! soil therefrom is performed, every E ‘week an annual fee of forty shill lings for each nightsoil pan attend- ! ed to. ' 2. And -that each annual fee shall be ’ an annual-recurring fee and shall be payable at the oflice of the Taihape ! Borough Council situate in Main Street, Taih-ape, quarterly in ad- ‘ Vance on the first days of January, April, July, and October in every year, the first of such payments to become due and payable on the first day of April, 1920 Provided that without prejudice to the right of‘ action immediately after any such quarterly day one shilling and three! pence per pan for removal of such] [ nightsoil may beallowed as dis-. count to every occupier who shall , pay within one month .after any such quarterly day.
