FIRE IN WELLINGTON.
HORSES BURNED TO DEATH. WEIEINGTON, this day. Stables in I-lowes Lane, off Nixon Street, were burned yesterday after-) moon. A neighbour gave the alarm,j and entered the stable. fififls cmfb‘ and entering the stable‘ found four‘ horses therein belonging to the city milk supply. A lthick yellow smoke‘ maddened the animals, which were, rearing and plunging in the stalls, ‘fazed with fear. The man got one out, but the flames gaining headway he coulrl not save the others, which perished. A quantity of harness and thirty flms of’ chafi were also lost.‘ .-
