STOCK SALES REPORT.
Messrs Abraham, and Williams report:—At Hunterville on Tuesday we yarded some 5000 sheep and 200 cattle, and have to report a total clearance with the exception of one pen of sheep r and cattle. Price s were firm throughout. We quote as follows: 2-th ewes 26/9, 4 and 6-th 33/, 6-th do. 26/4, 26/6, T-yr ewes 25/9, 26/3, 4 and 5-yr do. 22/3 to 29/, poor do. 14/6 to 17/4, cull do. 5/6 to 7/, 2-tooth wethers 25/, 29/3, best shorn lambs 16/ to 18/4, fair do. 13/3 to 14/10, medium 11/ to 12/7, small do. 8/3 to 10/7, cull do. 5/ to 6/6, 24-year steers £9 15/ to £ll, 34-year do to £l3 2/6, 2-year do. £7 to £B, yearling do. £5 12/, yearling heifers £4 11/, 2-year do £5 7/6, forward heifers £7 5/, £7 10/, forward cows £7 to £B, cows and calves £7 4/, bulls to £6. At Mangaweka, on Thursday, we had a good yarding of sheep which were offered to a good attendance, buyers being present from Manawafu, Taranaki, and Waikato. At prices satisfactory to vendors all lots found purchasers. Two-tooth ew r es 25/1. 25/6, others 23/ to 24/, 2 and 4-tooth owes (small) 25/, mixed ewes 21/1, 23/, 4 and 5-year ewes 20/, 23/7, 4-year ewes 24/ to 26/, 5-year do. to 25/6, others 20/, 20/9, cull ewes 15/ to 16/; on account of F. R. H. Gcl'ringe (annual draft), 4 and 5-yr ewes 31/4, 2-th draft), 4 and 5-ycar ewes 31/4, 2-tooth ewes 26/7; C. T. Recble, 2-tooth Romney rams £6 6/,
