The con-.t-:-st proved rather disappointing from the spectatrs’ point of view. In the thii-<1 round Meekin Went down for nine seconds to a'oouple of short arni jolts to the jaw. He was obviously dazteil and went down again for eight and seven seconds. In the ninth round he was sent down again, a.nc'l the referee stopped the fight and gave the verdict to Ul-en.
