A young woman lately employed by an Aslsociation. in Wellington, left recently to visit Australia. sunse. quently, it is stated, certain irr-ego» larities were discovered in connection with the Association's accounts, involving a considerable sum. As. a result of this, it is understood, the young woman has been arrested In Sydney, and a police escort will go across to bring her back. The police state that investigations Efi-Ta; not yet complete, and therefore they maintain a reticieut attitude on the matter. _
