AucI;LAND, this day. ' It is reported from Kaitaia that Meihemi, aged 25, was found dead by thevpolice. He was reported as missing since last Saturday, when it is alleged he was struck on the head by another Maori during a quarrel. Inquiries by Cons‘f'a.ble Caldwell at Kaitaia resulted in the find to-day, Wednesday, twenty chains from the scene of the quarrel in !a. drain in 15 metres of water. The local police arrested the other Maori, whose nagne is unknown. l
