CONTEST AT GISBORNE.
GISBORNE, Feb. 12. A 15-round professional boxing contest, between Tom Heeney (Gisboine) and W] Bartlett (Mul‘chis»oll) took Dlace to-night. Bartlett quitted after -the eighth round, declaring that Heeney was too strong, and that he (Bartlett) would have no chance of success. The display was not onesided, but fairly tame.
