For ten years I myself was a cog in this hem-tless Irachine for Europe, Mexico, Canada, and the United States, I servt-d my Imperial master well. Durm.-,: those ten years, I learned evzry liideous (fetail of the workings of Ihe I§‘m;-.el-‘.5: secret agents. Now, trusting that I may help to undo some of the villi-my which in other days I promotr-d, I have given to Mr R. A. Walsh, for the filming of “The Prussian Cur,” the whole mass of secret information which I gained while serving the Kaiser. I fully realise the danger I am running in giving this knowledge to the world. Already, three attempts have been made against my life. But I believe that this great William Fox picture will do much to overthrovm the tyrannical government which I formerly served. Therefore I am willing to accept the consequences of" my expose. While America pursues her Ways of peace, the German Kaiser and his Junkers plan to conquer the world. THE KING'S
THE CORELLI TRIO.
ENTHUSIASTIC AUDIENCE. To—night offers the last opPortlmitY of hearing the above gifted muslcans, who met with a tremendous reception last evening, at the Killg’S. Not since the Cherniavski’s visited“"l‘ai.hal>e have musicians of such calibre been heard here. Not only do they show dexterity and technique in their playing, but they have selected items that are popular. To‘-night’~sl items Will include a Harp Solo; other numbers will consist of “Barcarolle” (Tales of Hoffmann) and the ever-popular Ragtime Medley. ‘Such artists as ,these are well worthy of the highest natronage. A complete change of music and pictures announced for to-night. “PAY ME..” The big feature supporting the Corarelli Trio will be the famous production “Pay Me.” The story is of the Rex Beach style, and breathes the air ‘of the West. Its characters are redblooded adventurers, who frequent the gambling hells and dance halls, and who are “outside the law." The story is full of primative rcmance—— man’s passions brought close to the surface. It is easily the best "Jew-33" production to hand. A 91;:-3;--.t_v comedy “Just Like Dad” will aim be shown. . MARY PICKFORD. ' SATURDAY AND MONDAY. One of the funniest of all the humorous things with which “Daddy Long Legs” is; loaded, is the scene where Mary Pickford, as Judy Abbott, takes too much hard cider.. A funny little freckled orphan and Judy lend a ‘prune strike,’ striving to obtain ‘better food for the orphans, and they happen on a jar of cider thrown over the fence by «a thief, with dire results. M'3.ry’s portrayal of Judy ils -a Wonderful piece of characterisation, and the foregoing is only one of the masterful bits of humour that she is responsible for in the picture. The box plan is now on view at Swedlund’s. A MIDNIGHT ROMANCE.
Anita Stewart will be seen on Friday night, at the King’s, .in “A Midnight Romance.” A. story by the same author and producer as “The Price of a. Good Time.” '
