The piece -abounds "in exciting situations that arise without any conjuration, the sentiment is passionate and pure, the speech is singularly free, for a work of this, ‘The bombastic and outre, and for consecu-tiveness, and order, the tale is worthy of Wilkie Collins. Mr Wilkie will be seen as Paul Valmar, the dashing young swordsman, a.nd Miss Fredeswyie Hunter-Watts, the beautiful Princess Astrea. Some magnificent costumes are worn in this great play.
