CONFERENCE WITH EMPLOYERS.
Representatives of the Fl'ee"/.ing Workers’ and Allied Trades Fedoration and of the associated fl-eezixig cornpaiiies, was: opened at the Dominion Farmers’ Institute yestel'd:{y afternoon. The principal subject for discussion is the fedel'ation’s application for a review in regard to wages of the agreement entered into last year. The employees are seeking iigeneral ail—round increase in wages. The business of the Confel‘(:llC-'3, which was conducted in comuiittc-.e, and was not therefore open ‘:0 the Press, will be continued to-day, when it is expected an amicable al'l'aHf§€‘ ment wili be arrived at.
