DUNEDIN, Feb; 6.

A mysterious burning accident, with fatal results, occurred at Kuriwao, Clinton. on Thursday, when Annie Mary Irwin, single aged 30 Was found dead at the residence of her uncle, Malcolm Patterson. Deceased was apparently in good health and spirits when her uncle and aunt left in the morning to drive to Clinton. On the former returning four hours later. he found the unfortunate girl lying under 2, Willow tree with every stitch of clothing burned off and in a shock ing condition. only her bootsv remaining on the body. At tfie inquest a verdict was returned that the cause of death was shock, the result of burns. there being no evidence to show ‘now or in what manner the bums were caused.
