FIRE AT MANAIA.

DISTRICT HIGH SCHOOL BURNT. HAVVERA, this day. A fire was discovered at. 5.30 this morning at the Mainaia. District High School. The fire had a strong hold, and no water supply was available. The Manaia fire brigade, who turned out, were able to save some material, but otherwise the building land confents were totally destroyed, Luckily there was no wind, and the fire did’ not spread E 0 the Technical School building, which is separated by only a. short space. . The cause of the fire is not known; but it'is remarkable that the Opunéke school was burnt about this time last year.
