A BATHER DROWNED.
A SON’S SAD DISCOVERY. 1. ’ AUCKLAND, this day. _ Alfred Charles Aspland, aged 48‘ Was drowned while bathing at‘ StHelier’s Bay, yesterday, in three feet of water, with his son.’ The boy; noticed his father fluating on the surd face, and struggled ashore with him,, but efforts to revive him failed.
