BEER CAUSES A RIOT.
DISGRACEFUL END TO A PICNIC

At the recent Ullited_Fl'ieii(l‘.y Society picnic, the train that ran from Oaniaru to Tiinaru had two thousand persons aboard, many of them women and children. The train was described as a Donnybrook from end to end. Nine window's were broken. The first trouble was starfod by one man objecting to another pulling a woman through a window at stop.
