The police secured the biggest hau] of whisky yet mmle in -the King Country last night by catching two men as Hsey were leaving the midnight ex. press. It. is sféited that the men had ninet.y-six bottles in four hampers and a. porhnanteau, and thzit they ‘left the train, with the swag, on the blind side. The police allege that the whisky was brought all the way from \volHng.ton. The two men have been suspected by the police of landing whisky at Rae_ tihi, 0113k‘m°.~ and Taumarunui for 801110 ~fim°- TIWF have been summoned on the Pl'<“3ollT charge to .'l{\p(lgll- in Court. on Januai-y 27th_
