RAILWAY CROSSING ACCIDENT.
‘ DUNEDIN, Jan. 12. R The names of the persons injul'€<l in the railway crossing accident at Mosgiel are: Wilfred Herbert Tilbury,| Thomas McCoskcl‘. Joyce Tilbur)’ (aged five years), and Archibald Til? bury (aged about four years). McCos- ‘ ker is a -brother-inlaw of Tilbury, and was on a visit to Dunedin from Wellington. -He is an architect in the our ‘ ploy of the Governmenlt, and is £lbollt 50 years of age. Tilbury resides at 252 Oxford ‘Street, South Dunedin, and 1' is a taxidrivcr. The ambulance reach-5 ed the scene of the accident shortly before 1 p.-m., Land left ‘soon afterwards] for the Dunedin Hospital with Mr Tilbury and his two children. Three doettors were quickly in attendance. With’ the exception of the boy Archibald all were unconscious. When the doctorsand ambulance arrived, Mrs" Tilbury, who was too ill to -be moved. -died at 3.15 pm. at Mosgiel. McCoskcr is only slightly injured. It is understood that l Mr Tilbury is suffering from serious . injuries to his head. The condition of I Joyce Tilbury is sltuted to be serious. ‘Archibald Tilbiury lis n.~dt Uadly injured.
