SIR JAMES ALEN TO’ BE APPOINTED. WELLINGTON, This Day. The Dominion, this morning, states the refiort that Sir James Allen is to go to London in some capacity reprc~ senting the New Zealand Government, probably as High Commissioner, has been fairly general for many weeks_ It is understood that although no appointment is likely to be made for some time. Mr Allen is almost sure to have the offer of High Commissionership and that he will accept the appointment.
