The Arbitration Court ‘has filed an amendment. to the typiographical award under which all journeymen, except peiceworkers, -are given a bonus of 11/ per Week, in lieu of the existing bonus of 7/6, and pieceworkers a bonus of 4/ per Week. From January 1, 1920, theihours of work of men employed in the hand section, and those who at” present work 48 hours per week in the machine Section, shall Be reduced‘ to 45 hours per week. On Saturday night special editions the work shall be at an hour or piecework rates, -and shall be paid for 3.17 the rate of 3/6, at the option of tlie employer. with a minimum of 7/6. Hand «peace Workers shall be paid an édditioflal 35 per 1000. A Overtime rates for machine’ workers are an increase to time ‘and a-half for the first three hours, and double time afterwards.
