FINAL FOR RANGITIKEI. ' MARTON, this day. The final count for the Rangitikei election show Bra-dy 2268, Glenn 2903, Meldrum 1655, inform-a 1 7-5. Majority for Glenn 635. RECOUNTS NOT FINISHED. WELLINGTON, Dec. 24. The Clerk of Writs ‘ascertained yesterday from. returning officers throughout ‘the country that official counts Were expected to be complete last night: Mr Hislop .sa._vs instructions are issued to continue the Work on Boxing Day., which is the‘ day on which the writs -are made returnable. If counts are still unfinished, an Ordei--in» Council will be necessary adte-ring the date, but he did not think this would be necessary.
