MAN CUTS HIS THROAT. ._.__.. IN FRONT OF THE GIRL. WHANGAREI, Dec. 22. Joseph F. Armstrong, aged 23, who had apparently beenn crossed in love, attempted suicide at Hikurangi yesterday. Producing a razor in front of 9. girl he drew the blade across his throat, inflicting minor injul‘ics_ He then apologised and went to his room.
