Abrah'am and W'illiams_, Ltd., report on Palmerston sale 18th inst. We had a small yardinvg of both sheep and cattle. We quote as follows:———‘ Sheep.——-. F-at ewes to 30/2, s‘rol'e owes to 18/6’, fat lambs to 19/, store lambs 4/ to 11/6. Cattle.——Fat cows £8 17/6 to £lO 12/6, £lO 17/6, fat 2—yl' steers £5 to £ 5 7/6, store cows £3 12/6 _to £6 15/, dairy cows £7, bull £5 5/. Dalgety and Co., Palmerston North report having a very fair elltl'_\' of stock at their Mangaweka sale on the 18th inst, which sold as belo-.v» Mixed 2-ths4l7/, 17/6, 2-th \vothers 24/ to 27/, fat ewes, 31/, Woolly hoggets 30/, yearling steers £4, £4 2/6, 3~yr steers £lO 10/. . .
