AN UNFORTUNATE ERROR.
‘ABOUT WAR GRATUITIES. WELLINGTON, Th-is Da.y. The War Expenses Office calls‘ attention to a paragraph circulated on the 19th November ijegai-ding the extension of the war gratuity to volun-_ tary aid'workers of the ex force. Owing to misapprehension this was so worded as to create a wrong impression. The authorities point out the extension applies only to Voluntary Aid Workers, who served not less than twelve months overseas, and does not apply in service in New Zealand.
