RETURN OF GERMANS.
A SUVA INCIDENT. ,R_S.A. INDIGNANT. SUVA, Dec. 8. Five Germans repati-iated by the Atua were ‘met yesterday on the wharf by returned soldiers who made hostile demonstrations. The Germans’ lug~ gage was flung into the harbour and they decided to stay aboard to-day. The Governor met the Returned Soldiers’ ‘Association and promised that the Germans would be placed on the quarantine island pending decision. Other Germans from Levuka are due on Wednesday and will be sent tolthe island also.“
