Presi—' dent indicafions are for strong .but decreasing southerly Winds northward of New Plymouth and Napier, and moderate to. strong soltherlies veering to waste:-lies shortly elsewhere. Weather fair to cloudy'genel'ally, but scattered showers likely, especially in northern and East Coast districts of the North Island. The barometer has a— rising tendency.
