Particurars -of the drowning of Dl-omgool show that the members of the picnic party were‘ swimming in the breakers, and two ladies got i=:.~to difficulties. After assisting in the rescue ,one, Dromgool, pmpose-:1 to help with the other, Who was being brought in with some difficulty by J. Neil. The constable tried to dissuade him, saying it was unnecessary. bat Dromgool persisted, and was last seen by Neil as the latter turned on his back exhausted to float.
