There was a slight increase in the values of beef, and mutton was very firm at late rates, slightly exceeding previous week's at the end of the sale. . 1 Store sheep: Shorn 2 tooth ewes I 24/3, owe hoggets to 33/3, good shorn . 2-tooth wethers 24/, 29/5, 4 and 6-tooth wethers (shorn) to 29/, 4 and 6-tooth wethers 39/5, sound-mouth ewes and lambs 21/9 (all counted), sound mouth dry ewes (shorn) to 26/2. Fat lambs: 560 penned, some ve.-y prime lambs forward. For these the demand was keen, light soils being down in values. Extra prime brought up to 38/4, prime 30/3. 36/3 ; medium 30/3, 29/11, lighter 19/3. 25/6. Fat sheep: Average yarding, the bulk being shorn and quality good.
