BRITISH SOLDIERS SHOT AT. RETALIATION MOOTED. Received 9.40 a.m. CAIRO, Dec. 1. British so!dier s are wildly indignant at the frequency of snooting occur-" rences after dark. Thirteen such incidents took place in the past few days. Tbe soldiers assert if shot at they will shoot the first Egyptian seen under suspicious circumstances. A gang of natives attempted to ambush a party of soldiers, but wer e arrested before they had an opportunity of firing. Sir E Allenby has placed all except the main roads out of bounds.
