The meeting which was to have been held in the supper-room of the Town Hall to-night in connection with the Soldiers' Memorial has postponed until Thursday, December lfrth, at 8 p.m.. Owing to Chautauqua season being on the postponement has been, considered desirable in order to get a thoroughly representative attendance. The seaman on his ship, the pioneer on his holding, the miner at the coal \ face, the babe in its cradle, the aged poor, have all been helped by the beneficent and humanitarian legislation, of the LIBERAL PARTY. The sending of Contingents to South Africa and the Expeditionary Force overseas to assist the Mother Country in time of need, and the presentation of a Dreadnought have proved that tbe Party ha s a wide and Imperial outlook as well as a domestic one t —27
