TURKISH RULE GONE FOR EVER. IJONDON,’ Nov. 26. Lord Curzon, continuing his speech in the House of Lords on the Egyptian situation, said British‘ guidance was still necessary. The Egyptians should not look to Turliey for guarantees in future. The Peace Treaty will impose on Turkey recognition of the British protectorate over Egypt. Lord Selbourne said the whole‘ nation supported the GOVe‘czllllc‘.lls intimation to Egypt that Turkey would neyer again have a share in the government of Egypt. A BRITISH OFFICER SHOT IN "A STREET. CAIRO, Nov. 26. There were further disturbances on the 23rd, when a British officer was shot dead in a st?-eet and a soldier wounded. The formation of a cabinet is regarded as "a hopeful sign, suggesting that the Egyptians are resigned to the inevitable. - The whole country is quiet. but the authorities do not believe ‘that the tranquility is genuine. It is feared that the arrival of the Milner Mission will precipitate a crisis. ‘
