These meetings were most cntliusiastie, and the best Mr Glenn has had so far. MR GLENN AT TOWN HALL ’ TO-NIGHT. Mr Glenn will deliver a political address at the Town Hall this evening. He will expound the policy of the party for which he stands. General Meldrum addressed the elec~ tors ‘at Bennett’s- Siding last night, and spoke. to a most attentive and ap-pl’O(:i£lt-iVQ -audience for upwards of an hour and a-half. The chairman, Mr J. A. Anderson, in introducing the earididiate, referred to the overwhelming majorities gained by the?’ Lib-eral candidate at Bennett’s Siding in preVious elections, -and forecasted a similar result when the numbers go up on December 17th. At the conclusion of General Meldl'um’s address two questiong ‘were asked which were Lmswered to the entire szitisfaetion of the quesfioners and the audience. On. the 1110tion of Mr Tomlinson, seconded by Mr Irvine, :1 unanimdus vote of thanks and confidence was -accorded to the speakers with aeelanl'a.tioll.
