The front elevation plan discloses a‘ remarkably well-designed front, artistic, pleasing and constituting in the whole a decided ornament to the town While being substantial in appearance it is distinctly «decorative, yet there~is' no straining after effect. The plans are by Mr J. M. Dawson, Architct, Wellington, who is now completing the specification. .The Whole is to be ‘built in brick, with usual reliefs, the whole front -has 3 cantilever verandah, assitcd by susipenders, there hing no supports fTOm ithe street in the form of posts. when lcompleted the structure will indeed be ‘something for other property-OWDGTS ‘to emulate.
