There will be a double picture ‘programme at the King’s to-morrow nighthl licguletl by that gorgeous and magnif.-I cont production “Stolen Orders,’-’ enmpanion picture to “The Whip.;” The‘ story is a picturised version of the: great Drury Lane drama of the samei name, and has been produced on a scale of great niagnificence. The cast 1 contains such Well—known stars as June Elvidge, Montague Love. Kitty, Gordon, Carlyle Blackwell, Madge; Evans and George Macquarrie, whilei no less a person than President Wil-I son appears _in the picture 3lld'll‘x3.k€S‘ a speech against the enemies within! our gates. The Italian and American Governments rendered special and‘ valuable assistance in ,‘the production‘ scenes being taken on battlesliipr, and/! on the ‘battlefield. The original play has ‘been altered to the present day,’ and is clearer and more thrilling, besides being more realistic and thrill—i ing than when produced on the stage.‘ Taken altogether the productionfi marks an epoch in the I)l‘Ogl‘eSS of; films, and is a memorable contribution 4 to photo-play achievement. ' The usual prices for admission will.be charged. crown HALL PICTURES. i To—morrow night there will be preisented 'a stir-1-irrg drama entitled “The 'Judglne'nl-, House,” a screen adaptation lot‘ Gilbert Parkcr’s famous novel of [the same ‘name. This -drama is inter ipretedby an all-star cast, including Conway Tearle, Wilfred Lucas.‘ Violet Henning, and Paul Doucets. It is a {gripping story of the loves of Jasmine ’Grenfell, heiress to a fortune, and a \name, eoquette, who took a year out Fof life ‘in which to spread her butterlfly wings ‘before losing herself in ‘matrimony; who played with the loves of two men and then cast them aside ‘and married another. This is the motif round which awmost fascinating story is woven, full of tense moments and dramatic situations. The-, second ‘instalment of the great “Rail-,’ road Raiders(’ serial will also :b-ej shown. The title of this episode isi “A. Double Steal.” The story centres rounfl {he "stealing of a collection ofl beautiful jewels. Hearing that thel owners are passing through on a cer—i tain train, two d'iffe~rent parties plan‘ ‘to steal the jewels. One of these par-, ties has duplicates made of the collec- : tion and boards the train intending! to drop the real jewels out of the Win—dow to the pawnbroker. The game] miscarries, however, and’ the ‘iewelsi are dropped into an ice cart instead.‘ The rail raiders also enter into thel game but are foiled by Helen’s man-I ipulations. !
