VERDICT OF NOT GUILTY. PALMERSTON N., This Day. At the Supreme Court yesterday, before Mr Justice Chapman, Charles‘ James Cookery, was charged with ‘having unlawfully counselled and at.tompted to pl'oCul‘c Henry Joseph Lewis‘ and Alfred Mcrvyn Capp to murder Thomas Quirko, a DetectiveSergoant, at Palmerston North, on October 13, 1919. Accused was found not guilty and discharged.
