OVAL CONVENIENCES.

WORK.TO BE PROCEEDED WITH AT ONCE.

Up-to-date conveniences are to be erected by the Taihape Borough Council on th Oval Domain. The work is to be commenced immediately, so that they may be available for the sports gathering on New Year’s Day. The matter is beinglfinanced practicailv on a £2 for 3?. basis between the Borough Council and thevarious bodies using the ground to the total amount of the estimate of £IBO. The conveniences for men which consist of two waterclosets and urinal, are to be erected in Wood and iron, with floor and wall of concrete, and to be placed on 2. site near the baths. ‘A ladies’ rest room is to be provided, 12 feet by 10 feet, which will have s‘=“ting accomugaa. tion under the same roof, but partitioned off from the rest room. §ani.l:ar§ arrangements will be installed, thus ensuring the utmost privacy to persons using same.
