YUDENITCH SUFFERS A REVERSE.
LONDON, Oct. 23.
A Russian North-West Al'my’s-com-muniquc states: A consi-del'a.ble force of Bolsheviks, under selected commissaries from Moscow, Counter-.attack-ed immeéliately south of Petrograd, and compelled Yudenitch on Saturday to evacuate Tsarskoe Solo and Pavlovsk.
The Reds, including troops from Arclicangcl, again strongly attacked on Sunday, recapturing Krasnoe Solo. Bolshevik attacks have now ceased. The Reds recaptured Plyussa. station, twenty miles sou-th-west of Luga. Copenhagen learns that the Bolsheviks arc busily transporting troops from the centre of Russia in pl'epa.l'ation for recapturing Petrograd if‘ the City is 105%. In the House of Commons, in reply to Mr Wedgwood, Mr tH‘a.l‘mswio'l'th stated that the Governnient was not satpresent furnishing funds 01' supplies for Koltchak, and did not con-ternpl-ate furnishing further supplies for Deniliena .
Since the British left .Murmansk Yudénitch"has had difficulty in coping with the Bolsheviks. He asked the Finnish Gpvernment for aid, which_was refused. W .

The Times’ Copenha'gell c-o-rrespon-d----ent states that it is reported from B‘er-e lin that the National Assembly’s Foreign Committee recommended Germany not to participate in the blockade. of Russia. A secret si-tti'ng of the Swedish Parliament is discussing the blockade. The Socialists are strongly opposing the‘ proposal. Danish Socialists have not yet expressed an opinion on the matter.
