EXTRACT FROM BY-LAWS.
The following requirements shall be complied with:—a. All external doors shall ke kept‘ wide open during the time the public are using the building, 1). All;eXil:.s must be indicated by nofices, clearly printed in 7in letters, at least 6ft 9in above the floor. The words. “No Exit.” must be painted over all doors which are in sight of the audience, but which do not lead to exits. ‘
e. No door to be"used for purposes of exit ‘shall be fxnrnished with any fastening other than an automatic bolt of an approved pattern. (3. The publfc shall. ‘be allowed to leave by 4211 the exit doors. e. All exit doors shall be thrown ’ open to the public immediafely on fhe close of each perfornmnce. ' V
f..sThe following ngotice shall be printed on every programme, and shall be legibly exhibited in every part of the building: “Tlll9 public ‘may leave . the building at the end 3?. thé~performOancé by all exit doors.”
