At Addington market to-day there was a slightly smaller yarding of fat sheep and about thevsame of cattle‘ Prime quality in both maintained values, but second grad; showed a weakening. . The market; showed an improvement on last week, but for 4-tooth wethers particularly so. Ewes and lambs 16/9 (all counted)_, 2 -and 4th wethers 33/6, 4 and 6th wethers 30/‘ to 43/1, ewe hoggets 28/8 to 33/3, mixed sex hoggets 18/6 to 28/9, wether hoggets 24/ to 28/4_ Fat lambs: 123 were penned. The market was easier, except for best, which sold up to‘36/. Fat sheep. The quality was better than the previous week, several very prime pens being put forward. Themarket for these was up to recent values, but there was a decided lack of keenness for indifferent quality.
