It wasdecided to draw" the attention of the Dominion Associafion to tfie programme in question, ex+ prgssing‘ the opinion that the such 1-arge prize money, presumably cash, was most harmful in the infer-' estsiof the game, and calling upon the Association to cancel permission to tho southland Centre to hold the tournament until that cen-tire withdrew the offer of such large prizes, anti reducer} the value of any trophy ofiexed to not more than. the maximum resolved upon: at the Associa.fion’s. last meeting, namely, £5 5/ per player. - P
