FIRE AT WELLINGTON.
WELLINGTON, Oct. 3
A fire. broke out in the Empire ‘Printing and Box Manufétcturing Com-pany-,’s premises, _'Adel.aide Road, tonight. It evidently commenced in the upper storey, which was gutt'cd,,and the plant on the ground floor must have suffered considerably from water_
The premises of Simmonds and Osborne, cordial manufacturers, adjoined, and their -stock and plant also suffered from water. T
As several wooddfi buildings were only a, short distance away, the Brigade had a "hard fight in confining the fire to the Empire Company’s building.
