MOTOR CAR PROHIBITION. 1) CITY COUNCIL PRECAUTION. The death knell of the left-hand driven motor oar has just about been sounded in Auckland, for by a decision of the civi_c authorities‘ no licenses Will be issued to any new “left—handers.” This is a step in the direction of minimising motor car accidents. With the left-hand car itlis a diflicult matter for the driver to signal over the side of the car with‘ his rig-ht hand, as demanded in certain cases by the ‘‘rule of the road” laws in force in this city. .
