DISTRIBUTION DELAYED, j WELLINQTON, Sept. 3. _§ The captured war material which is in the possession of the New Zealand military authorities in London and ‘ Egypt is coming to hand in instalments by each returning transport, and is being carefully elieeked, classified, and stored by the Defence Department at kVVellington, in readiness for the time when distribution can be made. It will not be possible for allocations to be made until all the material arrives, and it is seen what there is to distribute{ -Last week the London headquarters were asked_ by cable when -the shipments were likely ‘To be completed, and the reply was that the ~VVa.r Ofiice could name no date, but that the Doniinions’ claims W€l‘o reeeiving first con. si‘Ele~.-a-tion.
