LONDON HOUSING.
2000 LARGE HOUSES TO BE . CONVERTED INTO FLATS. LONDON, Aug_ 30. The Housing Board inspected two thousand large houses, with a View to their conversion into flats. The Boaard scheduled: _a thousand as suitable. The Ofiice of Works is to undertake conversion. The Ministry of Health has already approved 01310 out of 4398 housing schemes, -and passed plans for 15,917 houses.
