CHILDREN'S FANCY DRESS DANCE.

l The children’s fancy dress dance which takes place at the Town Hall ‘to-rnorrow night promises to be very *sueCessful_ The tickets have been selling freely, and judging by the number who lhavo been attending prac~ ltices the juveniles will be there in "great force. The children will have charge of the floor until 10 o’clock, ;after which hour the ‘adult dancers [will be allowed to participate. Prizes }will be given for the best fancy dress gworn by a girl and boy, the allocation [of first prize being by popular vote, lall tllo.~-- present being entitled to a Byotc. The hall and supper—room will be tastefully decorated, and the sup‘per, which will be kindly provided by Ethe ladies, will be quite a feature of ithc dance. : ii Provision has been made in the dress circle for those desiring t 0 ‘Wit--; ‘ncss the various dances of the chil:l—§ 1-en, and the variegated costumes in]? which they will appear. One shilling‘ will be charged for admission to this! part of the hall. ,1 Those ladies who have so kindly pr-omised contributions to the SuppGr,l are requested to have them all ready‘ by 11.30 tomorrow. morning, when a‘ motor car will call and collect. If by{ any oversight the car should miss anyone, the committee would be grateful it tho donors would endeavour to have their gifts sent down to the hall as soon as possible.
