The brewery firm-———known as Messrs Breai-‘and Brown—w»as floated into a company, the selling price being £200,000, and for some years earned good dividends. They came the slump in public houses; the company failed, and J l\'[r Brear was left practically penniless, ending his days in the humble dwelling wherein he first saw the light. I
