SERIOUS NOTE IN ANNUAL REPORT. SYDNEY, Aug. 19. The Railways report stresses rhe necessity -for resuming the construc‘ftional work -on the city railways suspended since June last year. The repbrt says: “Within a very short period the present facilities will absolutely fail to deal with ‘the city’s requirementTs_” The report shows the increases in the wages ‘sheet for the year of £81,554, as a result of various industrial awards.
