Some time ago it was discovered that a considerable number of members of Whitiora Bowling Club, at Hamilton, were, through some informality, not legal members of HlO club, and tlwy were barred from exercising the privileges they had for’_yea'rs enjoyed. On Thursday last charter members of the Whit-iora Bowling Club considered the question of reinstating “out” members en bloc. They refused to give an undertaking that: all would be received back, none being ‘blaekballed. The “outs” proceeded to the green and took possession ‘of the rollers’ and mowers, subsequently notifying the police of their action. They intend to keep :the gréens in order and to play as usual, their object being to force the “ins" to take the matter into Court and prove their contenfion ‘that the “outs” are not members of the club. l
