A< Hanan, Minister for Education, relative to the appropriate co'mmcmmoration of the Great War by issuing suitable Peace souvenirs to school children. In. reply to a letter, Mr Smith has re* ccivcd the following from tiie dated August 11th Dear Sir,—l ,have to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 2nd instant, forwarding correspondence received by you from'the Wanganui Education Board, in which it is urged that arrangements be made by the Government to provide suitable peace souvenir's for ifrOc distribution to the children of the Dominion, in commemoration of the Great War_ I have noted your representations in support of the request, and shall be pleased to bring the matter before Cabinet for consideration.
