Mr Chnier, who is in the extraordinary position of being regarded as legally insane in Virginia, where he lives, was accused i'n a. state. ment publishel” in the Evening Post, of having himself adjuG‘ged insane "before he killed a man, The jury, "in returning their verdict, also declared that Mr iChanier was insane.
