TRANSPORTS ON TH_E WAY. The Defence Lepartment has receivecl official advice that the Matatua, with Returning Draft No. 270, and the Ulilnaroa, with Returning Draft NO. 271, will reach Auckland on the Bth irst. If practicable the southern quota on the Matatua will be transhipped to the Ulimaroa, which will come on to Wellington.
Imperial details, ex Bremen, now at Sydney, are ‘expected to tranship by the Essex, sailing early next week. The Hororata, with Returning Draft I\'o_ 280, left the United Kingdom on July 28th. ‘She is coming out via the Cape, and it due at Vvellington on or about September 20th. Her complement comprises 1414 troops.
